Application Fee
The fees for the CTET exam are as follows:
- For Single Paper:
- General / OBC / EWS: 1000/-
- SC / ST / PH: 500/-
- For Both Papers (Primary / Junior):
- General / OBC / EWS: 1200/-
- SC / ST / PH: 600/-
- Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
CBSE CTET September 2026 Exam Eligibility Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code September 2026
Eligibility criteria for Primary Level are as follows:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code September 2026
Eligibility criteria for Junior Level are as follows:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), as per NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor's in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Any candidate with a recognized B.Ed. The programme is eligible for TET/CTET.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, and passed or appearing in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
