Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET/STET 2026) for Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools. The online registration for this examination started on 17 August 2026 and will continue until 15 September 2026.

Application Fee
The application fee structure for Bihar STET 2026 is as follows.
- Paper 1 OR Paper 2 - Gen/ EWS/ BC/ EBC: ₹960/-
- Paper 1 OR Paper 2 - Other State (All Category): ₹960/-
- Paper 1 OR Paper 2 - SC/ ST/ PWD: ₹760/-
- Both Papers 1 & 2 - Gen/ EWS/ BC/ EBC: ₹1440/-

Age Limit
The age limits for candidates applying for Bihar STET 2026 are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Bihar STET 2026 are detailed below.
- Secondary (Class 9th to 10th) Paper 1: Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed OR Master’s Degree in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed OR Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with a Minimum of 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed OR 4 Year Course BA BEd / BSc BEd Exam Passed OR Equivalent Eligibility From Any Recognized University/ Board/ Institutions in India.
- Senior Secondary (Class 11th & 12th) Paper 2: Master’s Degree in a Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam / BA BEd / BSc BEd Passed OR Master’s Degree with a Minimum of 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed OR Master’s Degree with 55% Marks and 3 3-Year B.Ed M.Ed Course OR Equivalent Eligibility From Any Recognized University/ Board/ Institutions in India.
